Lucas Moura had a bit-part role in Tottenham Hotspur’s most recent outing.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are laying into manager Mauricio Pochettino over his treatment of Lucas Moura.
Pochettino gave the Brazilian attacker a late cameo in Spurs’ 2-1 defeat by Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday evening, bringing him on eight minutes after Mo Salah fired the hosts ahead.
Lucas scored the second-half treble which helped Tottenham into a Champions League final last season but, this time around, the former Paris Saint-Germain winger, a £25 million signing in January of 2018 [The Telegraph], is only averaging 38 minutes per Premier League game.
And fans of the North London club are baffled as to why Pochettino isn’t using Lucas a lot more regularly.
Here’s how they reacted to him coming on with seven minutes to go at Anfield:
Tottenham fans have a point. Lucas is most definitely a player capable of changing a game, as he demonstrated so well in Amsterdam earlier this year.
At Manchester City in August, Lucas scored with his first touch after coming on and the Lilywhites wound up earning a point.
But for whatever reason, the Argentine manager doesn’t seem keen on using him until it’s too late in certain games, and you can understand the fans’ frustrations.
