Tottenham Hotspur are facing a huge summer rebuild, but one photo of Danny Rose and Mauricio Pochettino has fans pining for the past.
New boss Nuno Espirito Santo is in, whilst Tottenham have also brought in a director of football with Fabio Paratici arriving from Juventus.
Tottenham were dismal last season and now need to get back to thriving in the Premier League, as they were under Pochettino.
Pochettino returns to England, visits Danny Rose
On Friday, Watford defender Danny Rose – recently signed on a free transfer from Tottenham – celebrated his 31st birthday on Friday.
The left back was a mainstay of Pochettino’s early Tottenham sides, becoming one of the top left backs in Europe during his time under the Argentinian.
Watford tweeted a photo of Pochettino visiting Rose at Watford’s training ground, as whilst he was there to see his son, he also took the opportunity to see Rose again.

Tottenham supporters still absolutely love Pochettino and would love to have him back, with the recent rumours of a return sparking wild excitement.
Pochettino is ultimately staying at Paris Saint-Germain, but the photo with Rose sparked real emotion from Spurs fans.
Tottenham fans admitted that they still love Pochettino, and seeing him still close with his former players is ‘heartbreaking’ having seen Daniel Levy axe him in 2019.
Others suggested they wanted to cry after seeing the photo, and can’t handle how much they still love Pochettino more than 18 months after his departure.
