The Tottenham Hotspur right-back started at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur bid farewell to White Hart Lane with a 2-1 victory against Manchester United at the weekend, courtesy of goals from Victor Wanyama and Harry Kane.
A late Wayne Rooney strike was a mere consolation for a United side seemingly focusing solely on their upcoming Europa League final, and Spurs fans got to see their side go out on a high.
Tottenham may have seen their title challenge end in recent days, but they still have plenty to be proud of and on this season’s evidence they are going to be there or thereabouts for many years to come.
One Tottenham player who has stepped up his game this season is right-back Kieran Trippier, and depending on the future of his teammate Kyle Walker, the former Burnley man may be about to get a prolonged run in the side.
Trippier has been very much back-up for much of his time in North London. However this season he has racked up 21 appearances this season, including 11 in the league, and he rarely disappoints.

That said, the 26-year-old had a tough time against United’s Anthony Martial on Sunday and he will know there are still areas of his game that need improving.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what Tottenham fans thought of Trippier’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
