Quite a few Tottenham Hotspur fans aren’t all that happy with Kieran Trippier’s performance this evening.
The Spurs right-back struggled in the shock 3-1 defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, but Mauricio Pochettino gave him the chance to atone.
It must be said that the former Burnley defender didn’t take the opportunity with both hands, however.
The 28-year-old, as he so often is, impressed in the final third, but defensively he was caught napping and found lacking on several occasions, particularly after the break.

The other disappointment for Tottenham fans might be the scoreline. Yes, they would have obviously taken a 3-0 win before kickoff, especially having lost at home to Wolves last time out.
But Pochettino’s side were three ahead by the 26-minute mark and could – and maybe should – have won by a far greater margin.
But the three points is all that matters, and the North Londoners moved six adrift of Liverpool at Premier League’s summit.
