The 24-year-old was given an unfamiliar role for Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-1 to Chelsea on Saturday evening at Stamford Bridge.
Christian Eriksen fired Spurs ahead after only 11 minutes, but Pedro equalised for the Blues on the stroke of half time.
And Victor Moses put the hosts ahead within seven minutes of the restart for what proved the winner as Tottenham slipped seven points behind Chelsea.

Some Spurs fans feared the worst before kickoff when it became clear that manager Mauricio Pochettino had intended to play centre-back Kevin Wimmer at left-back.
And the 24-year-old was perhaps a touch questionable for the Lilywhites’ second concession on 52 minutes.
But while some Tottenham ripped into the Austrian – and Pochettino for playing him there – there were also those who gave Wimmer a bit of credit for how he performed in an unfamiliar role.

Tottenham, who host Swansea City next weekend as they look to stay in the Premier League title race, will also fall four points adrift in their pursuit of Champions League qualification if Arsenal win at home to Bournemouth this afternoon.
It was Spurs’ first defeat, but there has been a lot of draws for Pochettino and co. The trick for him is to turn those stalemates into victories. He has to, if Spurs are to challenge for the title.
