Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in a winger before the transfer deadline, and Rennes star Jeremy Doku is the latest name being linked.
Adama Traore and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have both been linked, but Doku is now believed to be on the radar ahead of next Tuesday’s deadline.
Jeunes Footeux report that Tottenham have now joined Liverpool in the race to sign Doku, with Liverpool holding a long-term interest.
Nuno Espirito Santo is allegedly pushing Tottenham’s interest, picking him out as a prime target.
Rennes want a huge €50million (£43million) for Doku, meaning Tottenham will have to dig deep if they want to sign the Belgian in the coming days.
Doku joined Rennes from Anderlecht last summer, replacing Raphinha following his big move to Leeds United.
With two goals and four assists last season, Doku didn’t exactly set Ligue 1 alight, but at 19 he is a real talent for the future.
Doku is diminutive and possesses sensational pace, meaning he does make sense as an alternative if Wolves don’t allow Adama Traore to leave.

Tottenham fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the Doku rumours, and it’s fair to say that they’re pretty excited.
Some believe that this is exactly the sort of signing Tottenham need, believing it would be a ‘big’ addition.
Others think Doku is a better target than Traore anyway, begging Tottenham to go and get a deal done for the teenager.
