According to Belgian news, Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen will miss around four weeks.

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are concerned about the rumour regarding Jan Vertonghen.
According to HLN, Vertonghen won’t be back from his hamstring injury before November.
The Belgian publication claimed that the Tottenham stalwart tried to play through the problem in last week’s win at Huddersfield, which they write ‘wasn’t the smartest idea’.
If true, Vertonghen will miss at least one must-win Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven, as well as the Premier League visit of Manchester City.
Here is how some Spurs supporters are reacting to the news:
It’s bad news, but it isn’t disastrous. Mauricio Pochettino still has Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld to play central defence.
Vertonghen, who earns £100,000 a week in North London [Spotrac], is an exceptional defender and of course his absence will be felt, but providing it’s only a short-term layoff then Sanchez and Alderweireld will be alright – unless one of them also suffers an injury, in which case Tottenham fans will be really worried.
