Tottenham Hotspur fans have been having their say on Jack Wilshere switching from one rival to another.

Wilshere famously mocked Tottenham with an expletive laden chant after Arsenal’s two most recent FA Cup victories.

But in recent years the joke has been on him as injuries cost Wilshere years of his career and caused him to miss out on England’s World Cup squad.

Wilshere’s club career has taken a twist of it’s own, with the midfielder unable to agree terms on a new deal with Arsenal.

So now he has switched to West Ham instead, with the Hammers announcing the move on their official website.

The move keeps Wilshere in the Premier League, and he has ensured the hatred from and for rivals Tottenham will remain.

Jack Wilshere of Arsenal is closed down by Tiemoue Bakayoko of Chelsea during the Carabao Cup Semi-Final Second Leg at Emirates Stadium on January 24, 2018 in London, England.

West Ham and Tottenham are also London rivals, and having Wilshere in the Hammers line-up will inject even more animosity into the occasion due to his Arsenal background.

Many Tottenham fans are already writing him off, and also looking forward to their team coming up against him.
