Tottenham Hotspur narrowly lost to Manchester United this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino had a big decision to make with Harry Kane unavailable for Saturday’s clash against Manchester United, and he opted to select Heung-min Son ahead of Fernando Llorente in the forward position.
It was a debatable choice given the summer signing’s arrival as a worth backup to Tottenham’s top scorer and Son’s usually impressive work out wide, but the South Korea international worked hard to make up for Kane’s absence, even if United ultimately ran out 1-0 winners.

A late Anthony Martial strike was enough to give United all three points, leaving Tottenham fans to bemoan a lack of killer instinct without Kane to add to his ever-increasing tally.
Son has plenty of experience playing up front from his time in the Bundesliga, but it was still a risky move picking him over a player who scored 15 Premier League goals for Swansea City last season.
The Tottenham winger may have scored in the previous week’s victory against Liverpool, however that was his first league goal this season, with his only other strike coming in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.
