Dietmar Hamann has claimed Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has had contact from another European heavyweight.

Former Premier League midfielder Dietmar Hamann has told Sky Sports in Germany that Bayern Munich have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino – but Spurs fans have rubbished the German’s claim.
Pochettino has constantly been linked with a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs, as he continues to excel as Spurs manager despite chairman Daniel Levy keeping a tight, but fair stronghold on the coffers.
However, pressure is beginning to increase on the former Southampton and Espanyol manager’s shoulders as he is yet to win a trophy at the club despite boasting the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.

Hamann, who turned out for Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern, claimed that Pochettino had been in contact with Bayern: “I know Bayern have been in contact with Pochettino and that he was an option – and might still be.”
But Tottenham fans have completely laughed off the former midfielder’s suggestion, with some criticising Hamann himself for trying to unsettle Spurs while others asked why Pochettino would swap the Premier League for the Bundesliga.
One fan even described the news as “propaganda”.
