Tottenham Hotspur fell to defeat this afternoon, losing 2-1 away at London rivals West Ham United.
Spurs came into the game in poor Premier League form, and today’s game didn’t start well as Michail Antonio scored from close range.
Jesse Lingard fired home a second after the break, and whilst Lucas Moura gave Spurs hope with a great header, it just wasn’t to be.
Gareth Bale and Son Heung-min both hit the woodwork late on as Spurs went looking for an equaliser, but it was another defeat for Jose Mourinho’s men.
Spurs fans will be forgiven for feeling pretty low at the moment, having now lost five of the last six Premier League games, with today a huge disappointment.
Still, supporters did find a big positive, and that was the performance of substitute Bale as he came on at half time for Erik Lamela.

Bale created the goal and went close to one himself, looking much more like his old self than we have recently seen in a Spurs shirt.
Fans praised Bale as man of the match, believing that his performance was the only positive and that he deserves to start moving forward.
Others called him ‘fantastic’ and felt it was an ‘unbelievable performance’, emerging as a lone bright spot in a dismal afternoon.
