Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Dutchman this month.
According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
Spurs are currently sitting in third spot in the Premier League table, and are still in with a chance of winning all three cup competitions, but their season could be derailed by injuries to some of their key players including Harry Kane and Dele Alli, as well as Heung-Min Son’s absence due to international commitments.
With this in mind, bringing in the £25 million-rated Bergwijn would surely be a huge boost for Tottenham.
He has been on fire for PSV this season, notching up 10 goals and nine assists in 25 appearances in all competitions, and that kind of attacking output would certainly help the Lilywhites in the final third.
Spurs wont have things all their own way, however, with Manchester United and West Ham both allegedly interested in signing him too.
