Eric Dier admitted on Sunday that Tottenham Hotspur are in a crisis at the moment.

Spurs followed their 7-2 Bayern Munich humiliation in the Champions League by losing 3-0 away to Brighton & Hove Albion this past weekend.

In doing so, Tottenham, who were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup by a League Two club, slipped 13 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.

It is undeniably the most trying period in Mauricio Pochettino’s six-year stint as manager of the North London club and Dier conceded that it could be considered a crisis [The Mirror].

Here’s how Tottenham fans reacted to their midfielder’s comments:

Fortunately for the Lilywhites, they don’t play again for slightly under two weeks due to the international break.

It certainly comes at a good time for the North Londoners and time will tell whether the hiatus in club football is enough for Pochettino to get the playing staff back in his corner.
