Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a number of Serie A players after landing Fabio Paratici; Domenico Berardi is one of them.
Paratici’s move to Tottenham was confirmed on Saturday, with the former Juventus coming in as managing director of football.
His knowledge of Italian football means Serie A stars were always going to be linked, and the Italian press have been going wild this week.
Tottenham pursue Berardi deal
One of the first names linked was Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, who Paratici had allegedly wanted at Juventus for years.
Gazzetta Dello Sport reported earlier this week that Tottenham have already made contact over a potential deal for the 26-year-old wide man, though Arsenal are also keen.
Berardi enjoyed a stunning domestic campaign with 17 goals and eight assists in 30 games for Sassuolo, and picked up an assist as Italy beat Turkey 3-0 on Friday.

Tottenham fans have their say
Tottenham fans have been taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on Berardi, with some begging Spurs to get a deal done.
Some believe that Berardi is a ‘perfect’ fit for Tottenham, and would mesh well with Son Heung-min and Harry Kane in attack.
A number of fans called Berardi ‘class’, and are now hoping that Paratici can work his magic and get him signed.
