Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Besiktas defender.

Tottenham are interested in signing Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida this summer, according to Turkish media outlet Takvim, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in response to the speculation.
The 29-year-old played in the World Cup final for Croatia last summer, and despite his advancing years, he is an experienced, battle-hardened defender.
Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to bolster his central defensive ranks at Tottenham this summer, with Toby Alderweireld more likely to leave than stay, and Jan Vertonghen set to turn 32 at the end of this month.
Vida is a decent defender, but he doesn’t seem to be suited to Spurs at all.
He is far from accomplished with the ball at his feet, and playing out from the back is not his strong point.

The Croatian is set to turn 30 at the end of this month, and it would be a surprise to see Pochettino sign a player for Spurs who is already on the downward spiral.
Some Tottenham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news, and many of them don’t seem pleased with the idea of Vida rocking up in north London…
