Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United went head-to-head this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-0 to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan scoring the only goal of the game in the first half.

Spurs were looking to build on their 5-0 victory against Swansea City a week earlier but they were below par against Jose Mourinho’s side and could not break down a resolute defence.

One player who was well below his best was Dele Alli, with the Tottenham midfielder unable to add to his four goals and four assists so far this season.

At his best the 20-year-old is a wonderful player and he is destined for great things. However, he has struggled for consistency this campaign, even if he did set up goals in the previous two league games.
