Tottenham Hotspur needed a late goal to win their latest Premier League game.

Plenty of Spurs fans believe that Danny Rose is now back to his best after the full-back produced an outstanding performance during Tottenham’s 1-0 win against Brighton that piles the pressure back on their top four rivals.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side may have felt that they were heading for a frustrating draw as the Seagulls looked to boost their survival hopes by becoming the first team to stop Spurs winning at their new stadium.
But Christian Eriksen produced a stunning late strike to break Brighton’s hearts. However, while the Dane may steal the headlines, it appears that most of the supporters felt that it was Rose who was the best player on the pitch.
The 28-year-old caused problems in the final third with some excellent movement and passes, while some of his crosses asked questions of the visitors.

And while Brighton may not have posed many problems themselves, it was Rose who produced a sensational last-ditch challenge inside the box during the first-half that may have ensured that Hugo Lloris did not need to pick the ball out of the back of his net.
Some Spurs supporters have slammed a number of the players on social media, with many criticising the lacklustre performance. But Rose is one player who appears to have got pass marks from almost every fan who has taken to Twitter.
