Tottenham Hotspur are making big waves in the transfer market this summer.

Daniel Levy chairman

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy spoke to reporters today, and suggested that following their new £320 million sponsorship deal with AIA, Mauricio Pochettino will be able to spend heavily, if he so wishes.

Spurs have already been busy in the transfer market this summer, bringing in Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon and Jack Clarke from Leeds United, whilst deals to sign Real Betis ace Giovani Lo Celso and Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon are believed to be close, according to the Daily Star.

And Levy told reporters today how there is no intention for Tottenham to slow down when it comes to bringing in new faces, as quoted by Football.London:

“I don’t think it puts any pressure on us. We have of course embarked on two very big capital projects. We will always look to continue to improve the squad. I’d like to think we’re going in a very positive direction. The next priority now after the stadium is how we can improve not only the commercial side of the club but also the football side.”

Tottenham are expected to make a real push for major honours both domestically and on the continent this season.

And if they manage to add Lo Celso and Sessegnon to their ranks, whilst keeping hold of the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen, they really will be some side.
