Tottenham Hotspur’s chase for Giovani Lo Celso is confusing many.

Tottenham Hotspur ended a couple of transfers sagas on Tuesday by signing both Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele, but another one is rumbling on.
Ndombele bolsters the Tottenham midfield, but he’s more of a box-to-box player, and Mauricio Pochettino will now look for a creative player.
Christian Eriksen’s future appears to lie away from North London, and Pochettino has made compatriot Giovani Lo Celso his top target to come in.
BBC Sport reported in May that a £53million bid had been rejected for Real Betis star Lo Celso, and the latest reports about him are wildly confusing.
Sky Sports claimed that a deal for Lo Celso had been shelved, as Spurs couldn’t reach an agreement with Real Betis about a deal.
However, two sources in Andalusia – Estadio Deportivo and Mucho Deporte – both claimed that a deal for Lo Celso was actually close, as Spurs had returned with a better offer.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to share their confusion at the situation, as they simply don’t know what to believe anymore, and are wondering whether chairman Daniel Levy is feeling okay if a new bid really has been made.
However, a number of fans also aired their feelings about Lo Celso, suggesting that Spurs should look elsewhere for a new playmaker as Lo Celso isn’t great value compared to others on the market…
