Matt Wells has today quit as Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-18 manager.

Tottenham Hotspur today confirmed on their official website that Under-18s manager Matt Wells has left to join Fulham’s senior coaching staff.
Wells replaced Scott Parker in Tottenham’s youth set-up at the start of the season.
Parker also quit Spurs for the Cottagers last summer, and last week was named as the West Londoners’ senior manager on an interim basis.
Wells was assistant to Parker with the Lilywhites’ Under-18s, and worked under the late Ugo Ehiogu prior to that.
Here’s how fans of the North London club reacted to his exit.
Wells was originally a 16-year-old apprentice player at Tottenham, before going into the coaching side of things.
He has joined a club who are seemingly destined for the Championship next season, with Parker’s side currently ten points adrift of safety with nine games remaining.
Spurs’ Under-18s were unbeaten in league competition under Wells this season. They are second in the table, one point behind Arsenal, at the time of his departure [official website].
