The Tottenham Hotspur ace is a reported transfer target for Juventus.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Juventus have already made contact with Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen regarding a move for the midfield play-maker in the summer of 2020, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 27-year-old’s current deal with Tottenham expires in the summer of 2020, and Daniel Levy might just be looking to sell him now or in January, rather than risk lose him for nothing next year.
Eriksen is free to move to a foreign club before the end of the month, where the transfer window is still open.
If he hasn’t signed a new deal by the time that January comes around, he will be free to talk to foreign clubs about the possibility of moving on a free next summer.
The Times reported earlier today that Spurs could now be willing to accept as little as £50 million for the Denmark international.
It seems as though Juventus are prepared to wait for Eriksen, however.
