Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen played for Denmark against the Republic of Ireland in the World Cup playoff on Thursday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Christian Eriksen for Denmark against the Republic of Ireland this weekend.
Eriksen featured for Denmark in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – UEFA Second Round game against the Republic of Ireland at home on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder started the first leg of the playoff tie at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen and played for the entire 90 minutes.

The match ended in a goalless draw, with the second leg to be held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on November 14.
