The Welsh international impressed for Tottenham Hotspur against Everton at the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur put in another impressive performance as they overcame Everton 3-2 on Sunday, courtesy of two goals from Harry Kane and one from Dele Alli.
Spurs’ victory put some pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea, who face West Ham United this evening, and while the goal-scorers took the plaudits they were not the only ones to impress.
Centre-back Jan Vertonghen was immense, despite a costly slip, while left-back Ben Davies put in arguably his best shift since moving to White Hart Lane.
The Welsh international has not always played to his full potential at Tottenham and often has to play second fiddle to Danny Rose, but with the England man currently side-lined, Davies seized his chance against the Toffees.
Davies will know he may have to leave Tottenham if he wants to play week in, week out in the years ahead, with Rose going from strength to strength under Mauricio Pochettino, but for now he remains an important part of this side.
