Wenger has announced on Arsenal’s official website that he will leave the North London outfit at the end of the season.
The Frenchman has been in charge of the Gunners for 22 years and is one of the greatest football managers of all time.
Under Wenger, Arsenal have established themselves as one of the biggest clubs in the world and as a global brand.
Arsenal were hugely successful under Wenger at the start of this century, but in recent years Tottenham have overtaken them.
Spurs look set to finish above Arsenal in the Premier League table for the second season in a row, with the Gunners also likely to miss out on a Champions League place unless they win the Europa League.
