Tottenham full back accused of causing Arsenal star’s injury.
Tottenham’s Danny Rose in action with Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has accused Tottenham full-back Danny Rose of causing an injury to Gunners ace Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin will miss Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United and could be out for a month, with Wenger updating the The BBC on the right-back’s ankle injury.
The Spaniard is also set to miss Arsenal’s final two Champions League group matches, including the battle for top spot against PSG.
Wenger said: “He got injured in the last 10 seconds in a very strong tackle from Danny Rose.”

Tottenham full-back Rose has himself recovered from a spell on the sidelines earlier in the campaign, and the tackle was not one which drew reprimand from the referee.
Spurs fans have been responding to Wenger’s accusations about Rose’s tackle via Twitter, with some expressing disbelief that this was an incident the Frenchman saw…
Such is the bitter rivalry between Tottenham and Arsenal, that the impact of Rose’s tackle will only endear him further to the Spurs fanbase.
The boot has been on the other foot previously, with Jack Wilshere confirming to the London Evening Standard that he was responsible for injuring Tottenham midfielder at the time Ryan Mason, while on international duty with England.
Arsenal supporters will simply be hoping Bellerin’s injury does not progress into a more serious problem, as has happened before with Wenger’s miscalculation of recovery time.
Bellerin is a key player in defence, and while Carl Jenkinson has recovered from his own serious injury and will be available, he does not possess the same threat or defensive qualities as the Spaniard.
