Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to Anthony Martial’s heroics for Manchester United this afternoon.

The French attacker scored twice as the Red Devils were held to a 2-2 draw at Chelsea, with Ross Barkley snatching a stoppage-time equaliser for the hosts.

Tottenham were linked with a move for Martial for much of the summer transfer window, with Toby Alderweireld touted to go in the opposite direction.

The 22-year-old scored his first Premier League goal of the season in the win over Newcastle United last time around, and here is how some Spurs supporters reacted to his latest goals.

In truth, Tottenham aren’t missing someone of Martial’s quality all that much.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fourth in the Premier League table and only two points adrift of co-leaders Manchester City and Liverpool.

A player of Martial’s talent may have come in handy later on in the season, but for now the Lilywhites, who won 1-0 at West Ham today, seem to be doing just fine without him.
