Tottenham Hotspur youngster featured in Youth Cup defeat.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott featured for the under-18s in last night’s FA Youth Cup clash with Arsenal.
Spurs lost 5-2 to the Gunners, exiting the tournament in the fourth round.
The tie was all square at full-time at 2-2, before Arsenal pulled away in extra-time as both teams went for the win.
Parrott was not on the scoresheet, but did provide an assist.
He delivered a clever pass for Armando Shashoua to net the game’s opener. J’Neil Bennett put Tottenham 2-1 up after Arsenal had equalised.

Republic of Ireland under-19 striker Parrott has been in the spotlight since manager Mauricio Pochettino brought him to travel with the first team squad to face Leicester in the Premier League last month.
Harry Kane’s injury has increased the chance that Parrott could get a call up.
He was always scheduled to feature in the FA Youth Cup clash this evening, but it does raise doubt he will be involved for the first team against Fulham this weekend.
His lively display will have helped his cause though, despite failing to get on the scoresheet.
Here is a look at how Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to his performance…
