Tottenham Hotspur have been bizarrely linked with Paulo Dybala.

Every transfer window produces some bizarre rumours, and one surrounding Tottenham Hotspur has emerged in the last 24 hours.

Firstly, Calciomercato reported that Juventus forward Paulo Dybala had been offered to Spurs in a huge deal, but Tottenham turned the offer down.

Additionally, Tuttosport’s front page this morningas covered by Tuttomercatoweb – claimed that Tottenham had actually asked about information on a potential move for Dybala.

That would be quite remarkable from Spurs, as Dybala would be a huge, big-name signing, and they’d have to fend off huge competition to get him.

It’s unclear whether Spurs really are interested, with one report saying they are and another saying they aren’t, but fans are taking to Twitter to react.

Many feel that the 25-year-old is overrated and a ‘fraud’ after a disappointing season with Juve, in which he notched just five goals and four assists.

The Argentinian is a big name, but fans seemingly aren’t too fussed, with one even suggesting that he’d rather keep Erik Lamela than sign Dybala, whilst many feel that there is no chance of a move anyway.

Others think a swap deal for Christian Eriksen would be ideal, even urging Mauricio Pochettino to abandon his interest in Giovani Lo Celso in favour of signing Dybala this summer…
