Christian Eriksen has endured a difficult start to the season after expressing his desire to leave Tottenham Hotspur before a ball was kicked.
Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are overjoyed to hear the rumours that Bayern Munich want to sign their wantaway star Christian Eriksen.
German outlet Sport1 have claimed that German giants Bayern are keen on Eriksen, and they are looking to potentially snap him up when he is a free agent next summer.
It is said that the Bundesliga club have already made contact with Eriksen’s representatives – his contract runs out next summer, but he can sign a pre-contract agreement with other European clubs when the transfer window re-opens.
Eriksen isn’t exactly in the good books of the Spurs supporters because after they lost the Champion League final, he expressed his desire to take on a ‘new challenge’, as quoted by The Guardian.
Therefore, any sign that he could potentially leave, or if there is a sniff of interest from any other European clubs, Spurs fans are keen for him to go.
Ideally, they would like him to part ways with the club when the transfer window re-opens but given the status of his contract that may be difficult.
Potentially interested parties could just snap him up for free next summer, so there might be the possibility that he is still on Tottenham’s books come February.
But it is fair to say that amid Bayern’s reported interest, the Spurs faithful are hoping something will get done as they are seemingly glad to see the back of him.
