Tottenham Hotspur’s deal to sign Georges-Kevin Nkoudou appears to be off track, with French website Le Phoceen reporting it has collapsed.
The Guardian reported also that the transfer is on the brink of falling through, three weeks after the winger completed a medical at the club.
Protacted negotiations involving Clinton Njie going in the opposite direction and Tottenham changing terms of the deal are all cited as reasons for the deal being off, while the sudden impending exit of head of recruitment Paul Mitchell further clouds the situation.

Last week it was claimed Nkoudou was still in London by French newspaper La Provence, waiting in a hotel for the transfer to be sealed.
A deal is not officially off, but the situation appears to be heading in that direction, and one way or another Tottenham need to resolve it.

Time is ticking on in the transfer window and while Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen are excellent additions, Spurs will want to add at least one more, having come so close, whether it is Nkoudou or an alternative.
