Erik Lamela reportedly wants a high salary in order to sign a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to recent speculation surrounding Erik Lamela.
Lamela is one of the best players at Tottenham and has been on the books of the North London outfit since the summer of 2013.
According to a report in The Guardian at the time, Spurs had to pay AS Roma an initial transfer fee of £25.8m (€30m) in order to secure the services of the Argentina international attacker.
The 24-year-old, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has a contract with Tottenham until June 2020, according To transfermarkt.co.uk.

According to a recent report in The Mirror, Lamela wants as much as £120,000 per week in order to sign a new contract with the Premier League side.
Spurs reportedly want the former River Plate star to commit his long-term future to the club.
It has been reported that Lamela wants to double the £60,000-a-week salary he is on at the moment.
