Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Pritchard’s performance for Spurs U21s

The Tottenham Hotspur player impressed for the under-21s this week, scoring twice in a 4-1 win.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have a lot of young players to get excited about but one near the top of that list is 22-year-old midfielder Alex Pritchard.

The England under-21 international had an outstanding campaign on loan at Brentford last season, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists as the Championship club came close to promotion.

After a string of great performances it seemed the time was right for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino to give Pritchard a sustained chance in the first-team, but injury struck soon after.

But with that setback behind him Pritchard started for Tottenham’s under-21 side against Everton on Monday and he scored a quick-fire brace to help his side to a 4-1 victory against the Toffees.

Pritchard’s first came from a sublime free-kick and his second was a curled effort after fine work from Shaq Coulthirst.
