Tottenham Hotspur’s outstanding form continued on Saturday afternoon as they beat Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane.
Spurs beat Watford 4-0 last weekend to make it six wins in a row and 11 home wins on the bounce, and those numbers are continuing to rise after Saturday’s win.
Mousa Dembele scored his first goal of the season, slamming home with his right foot after Bournemouth failed to clear a corner from Christian Eriksen.
Harry Kane set up the in-form Son Heung-min to make it 2-0, and Kane announced his return to the starting line-up following an ankle injury by adding a third after the break.
Vincent Janssen then added gloss to the win by scoring his first Premier League goal from open play, giving Mauricio Pochettino’s men a second consecutive 4-0 win at fortress White Hart Lane.
In such a dominant performance, many Tottenham players impressed, but it was midfielder Dembele who stole the show with an exceptional performance.

The Belgian not only found the net, but controlled the play in the middle of the park, coasting past Bournemouth midfielders – including Arsenal loanee Jack Wilshere, much to the delight of Spurs fans.
After the final whistle, Spurs fans took to Twitter to hail Dembele for his performance, labelling him ‘immense’ and a ‘football genius’ after his superb display, with the 29-year-old excelling even with usual midfield partner Victor Wanyama out of the side.
