Tottenham Hotspur’s Kyle Walker-Peters has again been linked with Crystal Palace.

Tottenham Hotspur’s issues at right back have been well-documented at this point, and changes could be coming when the January transfer window opens.

Kieran Trippier was sold to Atletico Madrid over the summer, and despite Serge Aurier’s struggles at the club, Spurs chose not to sign another right back.

Juan Foyth is backed to take that role in the near future, but it was Kyle Walker-Peters who started the season as Mauricio Pochettino’s first-choice right back.

The 22-year-old started the first three games of the season, but since picking up an injury against Newcastle United, he’s only appeared once for Spurs – and that was the Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester United.

Aurier has featured ahead of Walker-Peters lately, and with Foyth coming back from injury, Walker-Peters could find himself slipping further down the pecking order.

Now, The Sun claim that Tottenham are already planning to loan out Walker-Peters in January, and London neighbours Crystal Palace are interested in taking him to Selhurst Park.

Spurs fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumour, suggesting that it’s risky to send Walker-Peters out on loan, and would be the exact kind of silly move expected of Tottenham.

Others called it ‘titanically stupid’ to send him out on loan given the issues at right back, but some would seemingly accept the move if one signing is made to replace him; Nice right back Youcef Atal, with fans hoping a January deal is done for the Algerian star.
