After being left out by Mauricio Pochettino for Tottenham Hotspur’s first three Premier League games, Jan Vertonghen has returned to the starting XI on a regular basis and has produced a number of indifferent performances.

Tottenham supporters on Twitter have fumed at Jan Vertonghen comments their 7-2 loss against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Vertonghen wasn’t initially selected by Pochettino at the start of the campaign, but the senior star was brought back into the fold for the North London derby.
