Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are linked with the Manchester City academy product.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal fans are quite keen on the idea of signing Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho.

The 17-year-old winger is expected to quit City this summer after refusing a £30k-a-week contract out of fears that his path to first team is blocked, according to The Independent.

The report stated that Spurs would challenge Arsenal for his signature, and that Sancho – who wants a return to London – could net Man City up to £4 million in compensation.

Not a great deal is known about the teenager, given his age, but Tottenham and Arsenal fans, for the most part, seem happy enough to take him on.

If he is focused on first-team chances over money then Tottenham and the Gunners could certainly be a good fit.

Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino does give Spurs youngsters chances to shine in the first team, and Sancho would be in good company with regards to how many other gems the Argentine manager has.

Big things are expected from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyle Walker-Peters, Marcus Edwards and Josh Onomah, all four of whom could break into the senior set-up this season.
