Jack Grealish featured in an advanced role as Aston Villa drew at Brentford.

Jack Grealish was in action for Aston Villa last night as Steve Bruce’s side drew with Brentford.
Grealish has remained a regular for Villa despite the transfer speculation which surrounded him all summer.
Right up until transfer deadline day, Grealish was linked to Tottenham Hotspur – but the Premier League side did not meet their asking price.
Villa manage Steve Bruce later goaded Spurs, saying they could have signed him if they paid up for him early in the summer, Talksport reported.
Grealish has now started all four of Villa’s Championship games, providing an assist for them on opening day.

He is yet to add to that, last night lacking the cutting edge in Villa’s 2-2 draw, and has not scored this season either.
Grealish played in an attacking midfield role behind striker Jonathan Kodjia, and touched the ball 90 times, more than any other player on the pitch.

He created one chance, while his efforts on goal did not pay off, twice being denied by goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.
Villa’s match was broadcast on Sky, allowing fans of summer suitors Tottenham to check him out in action.
