Tottenham have been urged to re-sign Gareth Bale but fans are sceptical.
Manchester United have not been shy about their interest, but former club Tottenham have been urged by pundit Ian Wright to launch an attempt to re-sign the winger, in comments made to BBC 5 Live.
Bale had his weakest season of his four years at Real Madrid so far on a personal level, scoring only seven La Liga goals, even though he ended up winning two major trophies.

Tottenham have a clause as part of their sale to Real which enables them 72 hours to match any bid the Spanish side accept which comes from a Premier League club.
Bale would have to take a major pay cut in order to join Tottenham, and any deal would require them breaking their transfer record, probably more than doubling it.

Last night the 28-year-old was in action for Real Madrid against Manchester United, selected from the start and featured for 75 minutes.
He almost scored in the 2-1 win, crashing a right footed shot against the bar from close range, and spurning an early, if awkward chance.
Tottenham fans remain unconvinced they can do a deal, but enjoyed seeing him in action, although there were a wide array of views.
Suggestions included former star Luka Modric being a more influential player, and Isco being a better player, with questions about whether Bale is being used correctly, and still has the pace he did at Tottenham.
Here is a look at the reaction to his performance…
