Tottenham Hotspur rotated their team against West Ham and were caught out.

Tottenham Hotspur slipped out of the Carabao Cup last night as a West Ham fightback dumped them out at Wembley.
Spurs were winning 2-0, scoring two first half goals, before three goals in 15 minutes turned the game on it’s head.
West Ham won 3-2, clinching a quarter-finals place, and giving under pressure manager Slaven Bilic a lifeline.
Tottenham had rested top scorer Harry Kane and started new signing Fernando Llorente in his place. The difference was clear.

Llorente did not threaten the West Ham goal, and was substituted with 20 minutes to go.
The service into Llorente was not great, but the Spaniard’s performance was one Tottenham fans have become very used to in recent seasons, from previous flops Roberto Soldado and Vincent Janssen.

Spurs fans are concerned, with one even comparing him to the woeful Grzegorz Rasiak.
The only way is up for Llorente from here, but it may be a while before he is trusted to lead the line up front on his own again.
Here is a look at how Tottenham supporters reacted on Twitter to his performance…
