Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a shock move for Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater, by The Sun.
Drinkwater, 26, is in the midst of contract negotiations at Leicester, and talk of interest from Spurs will not harm his chances of agreeing a new, highly paid deal.
For Tottenham and the player himself, it is a switch which does not make immediate sense.

Drinkwater would have to compete for a place in midfield but could still find himself as low in the pecking order as fifth choice, behind Dier, Dembele, Alli and Wanyama.
To spend £20 million on a player who could be in this situation would not be ideal, nor typical business sense from chairman Daniel Levy.
Leicester are desperately trying to keep their title winning squad from last season together, and Drinkwater might consider that his England prospects could be harmed by a spell on the bench at Tottenham.
