Tottenham fans felt their stars were overlooked, and are superior to Arsenal ace.
Jack Wilshere continued his Arsenal comeback last night, helping to inspire a 1-0 win over Red Star Belgrade.
The midfielder is benefitting from getting game time in the Europa League, having entered the campaign injured.
Wilshere, 25, was making his third start of the season and played a part in Olivier Giroud’s winning goal.
He is however still waiting to make his first Premier League appearance of the campaign.
On the horizon is a potential World Cup place for Wilshere if he can get back to his best, even though competition for places is higher than ever.
Sun journalist Charlie Wyatt had a bold claim in reaction to Wilshere’s performance, claiming he is the country’s most talented central midfield option.
Coming in the same week 21-year-old Harry Winks starred against Real Madrid for Tottenham Hotspur at the Bernabeu, this was an opinion which had a high number of dissenters.
