Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League title bid suffered another major blow as they lost away at Leicester City.

If their title hopes were not already bleak enough, Tottenham have presented Manchester City with the chance to potentially move 16 points clear of Mauricio Pochettino’s men when they take on Southampton on Wednesday, after Spurs lost 2-1 away at Leicester on Tuesday night.
With no win in the top flight since their first league game of the month, Pochettino would have known how crucial a positive result and performance at the King Power Stadium would have been – just to give the side hope regarding their already slim title chances.

Eriksen – who scored a hat-trick to inspire Denmark to the World Cup in the most recent international break – has not scored since the Champions League victory over Real Madrid at the start of the month, and, quite staggeringly, has not provided an assist in the league since the opening day of the season.
And it appears that a number of the supporters are convinced that it is now time for Pochettino to rest Eriksen after his latest performance. Here is the best of the reaction…
