Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles will spend the next few months on loan in League Two.

A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that Cambridge United confirmed on their official website that Jack Roles has joined the League Two side on loan until January.
Roles has had a taste of first-team action this summer, having been involved in Tottenham’s pre-season fixtures with Juventus and Manchester United. But he really caught the eye with the development side last season.
The 20-year-old scored eight goals domestically, and found the back of the net twice more in the UEFA Youth League. But his competitive debut for Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have to wait after he joined Colin Calderwood’s men on loan until the winter.
Cambridge are unbeaten in their first three games in the league, but they have only registered one win. Goalscoring has been an issue so far, with their first two fixtures ending in goalless draws.

Roles will be hoping that he can add to their fire-power and perhaps send a small message to Pochettino ahead of his potential return in January. It would be no surprise if he was reminded of the various loan spells Harry Kane went on before he really broke into the first-team.
Plenty of Tottenham supporters believe that it could be a very good move for the youngster. Some have suggested that he should have gone to an even higher level, but many are expecting big things from the attacker during the coming months.

Here is how some of the Spurs fans reacted to the announcement…
