Tottenham Hotspur have announced a new commercial deal – extending their agreement with the club’s first official tyre sponsor.

Spurs agreed a three year deal with Kumho Tyres in 2016 and have now added a further three years.

The deal with the South Korean company appears exciting for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

Levy told the club’s official website: “It is exciting to continue this collaboration that will see us support the growth of the Kumho business and brand through our growing digital channels both here in the UK and in key international markets.”

Daniel Levy takes his seat in the stand for the game during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland at White Hart Lane on September 18, 2016 in London, England.

This is a way for the club to add extra revenue at a crucial time as they look to pay for the new stadium.

New players and contract extensions are also on supporters’ wishlists.

Many Tottenham fans reacted sarcastically to the club announcing the deal, drumming up false excitement, a jab at the club failing to announce any meaningful deals on the playing side.
