Janssen has failed to make a single appearance for Spurs this season.

Tottenham Hotspur outcast Vincent Janssen could have a final chance to save his Spurs career as he looks set to reportedly return to action next week – and fans are hoping he is given a second chance.
Sky Sports report that the 24-year-old striker could be included in Spurs’ reserve side to face Liverpool on Monday night, after finally overcoming an operation on a foot injury that has seen him struggle to overcome.
He suffered the injury while on loan with Fenerbahce last season, where he managed only five goals and four assists in 18 league and cup appearances. He returned to Spurs injured, and was forced to go under the knife.
He was loaned to Fener after a disappointing first campaign at Spurs, where he managed just six goals in 39 league and cup appearances for north Londoners after his £17million move from AZ Alkmaar (BBC).
With the knowledge that he would be sidelined for some time, Mauricio Pochettino decided not to include him in Spurs’ 25-man Premier League squad in order to save the space and name someone else.

The January transfer window means the registration for the 25-man squad can be changed, with new squad lists being submitted on January 31. That gives Janssen a month to show he deserves to be recalled by Spurs.
He can do exactly that by shining in Premier League 2 for Spurs against Liverpool on Monday night, as Sky Sports claim he could be about to return for that fixture. Spurs fans reacted to the news he could play on Monday with delight.
