Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of European glory were dashed in dramatic fashion in March as they were dumped out of the Europa League by Dinamo Zagreb.

Spurs were 2-0 up from the first leg but somehow lost the second leg 3-0, crashing out under Jose Mourinho – part of the reason he was sacked.

It’s now up to Tottenham’s biggest rivals to bring European success back to London, with Arsenal having a chance to reach the Europa League final.

In the Champions League, Chelsea have advanced to the final against Manchester City having beaten Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Spurs may now have the pain of watching Chelsea and Arsenal win European trophies this season, whilst Tottenham don’t actually even have a manager.

That would sting, but Spurs fans were left baffled last night when Chelsea fans were seemingly focused on Tottenham before kick-off of their semi-final second leg.

Footage emerged of Chelsea fans outside Stamford Bridge chanting about how they hate Tottenham, and Spurs supporters couldn’t resist a few digs back.

Tottenham fans mocked them, suggesting that they are ‘obsessed’ with Spurs despite Chelsea not even being their biggest rivals; they aren’t overtaking Arsenal any time soon in that regard.

Others branded the chants ‘hysterical’ and laughed at how Tottenham are living rent free in the minds of Chelsea fans even before the biggest game of the season.
