Tottenham have reportedly made an “opening bid” for Napoli sensation Amadou Diawara.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an “opening bid” to sign Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawawa ahead of the summer transfer window – and Spurs fans have discussed the potential signing on Twitter.
The Guinea-born midfielder has impressed in the Light Blue of Napoli, despite his tender age of 20 which has seen Mauricio Pochettino’s side become alerted to his presence.

Spurs are likely to be in the market for a new central midfielder this summer with doubts surrounding the future of Mousa Dembele, with only a year left to run on his current contract.
Tottenham fans reacted to the news that their club had made an offer for the exciting Diawara, with some speculating as to what chairman Daniel Levy’s “opening bid” would actually be, while others underlined their desire to see Spurs land the midfielder.
One fan reckons Levy has offered Napoli “half a Kit Kat bar”, while another said he is the “perfect Dembele replacement.”
