Spurs defender Kieran Trippier is reportedly a target for Italian giants Napoli.

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier is reportedly interesting Serie A giants Napoli ahead of the summer transfer window – and the majority of Spurs fans have issued a hands-off warning to the Italians.
The Evening Standard claim Napoli want to sign the 27-year-old this summer, but Spurs are confident in keeping the former Burnley and Manchester City star.

That is because chairman Daniel Levy is set to offer England international Trippier a new contract, according to the report, which will see Spurs’ number two handed an increase on his current £50,000-a-week contract.
Trippier made 35 appearances in all competitions last season, keeping Serge Aurier out of the side as Mauricio Pochettino’s first choice. His excellent form, which saw him create nine goals in assists, sees him in the England World Cup squad.

Trippier’s current deal expires in the summer of 2022, but Spurs are still set to offer the defender a new deal and a pay rise – just as they have done for goal machine Harry Kane.
Tottenham fans reacted to Napoli’s interest in Trippier, with the majority giving their opinion on why the Serie A side have no chance of landing the seven-cap. But some have asked for a swap with defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
