Tottenham face Juventus in the second leg on March 7.

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain suffered an ankle injury in the Italian champions’ 1-0 win over Torino on Sunday and Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted with optimism ahead of the second leg.
Higuain, 30, was forced off the in the 16th minute of Juve’s win after colliding with goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu during the early stages of the match. He tried to continue, but he was finally replaced after struggling to go on.
The Daily Mirror have now reported that the talismanic striker could miss the second leg of Juve’s Champions League Round of 16 tie against Tottenham on March 7.

69-time Argentina international Higuain has been in excellent for Juve this season, scoring 20 goals in 34 league and cup appearances as well as turning provider on three occasions as the likes of Douglas Costa, Miralem Pjanic and Federico Bernadeschi look to supply him with ammunition.
The Argentina international was crucial in the first leg for Massmiliano Allegri’s side, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes of the 2-2 draw in Turin as Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen scored to restore parity.
Now, Spurs chances of qualification could have received a huge boost if Higuain is indeed ruled out for the clash in just over a fortnight, with one fan describing the injury as “massive for us”.
