Tottenham star’s bad luck with injury continues.

Tottenham Hotspur have received bad news on the eve of their Champions League semi-finals.
Spurs confirmed midfielder Harry Winks’ groin injury requires surgery and he will miss the remainder of the season.
Winks now misses out on the Champions League semi-finals.
He starred in the quarter-final first leg against Manchester City, before missing the decider at The Etihad through injury.
The injury is a cruel blow to Winks, who had been playing some of the best football of his career prior to this latest problem.
Winks’ season two years ago ended prematurely with an ankle injury and he struggled with it through most of last season too.

This at least is not a recurrence of that problem, but it is a disappointment all the same and Tottenham’s options in midfield are thinning.
